Reduce costs even further by using the following:

Payroll, Accounting / Bookkeeping and Human Resource services:

Payroll Services

Many employers already outsource their payroll functions. Others prepare payroll internally on systems such as QuickBooks. We process payroll using a secure web-based payroll and time and attendance system that fully integrates with your general ledger accounting system. Using us to process payroll means that you can enter data online, and a larger employer can print checks in its office. The cost to have us process payroll is probably less than you currently pay. Unlike many providers who charge a minimum fee and then separately for preparing paychecks, filings, wage reports, issuing W-2s, and updating tax tables, all we charge is a flat fee of $9 per paycheck per employee per pay period plus extra charges to process garnishments. If you wish to offer your employees the benefits we offer such as medical insurance, the law requires we prepare your payroll.

Accounting and Bookkeeping Services

  • Many employers also outsource to us a greater portion of their bookkeeping and administration in an effort to cut costs and increase cash flow.
  • Our system automates mundane and repetitive processes and integrates your payroll, accounting, job costing and bookkeeping tasks.
  • You may also find that some of the time your staff spends on payroll and accounting can be used for other more value-added purposes.
  • Suppose your company pays a bookkeeper $15 an hour.  For the year that’s $30 thousand and that does not even include overhead and the burden, vacations, sick time, and when it’s all said and done the cost for the year can be as much as $40 or $50 thousand.
  • We can perform the same services and save thousands each year.

Human Resource Services

Complying with various federal, state and local employment laws and regulations is a difficult and time consuming task. Our firm can assist you as follows:

  • Administer COBRA, the Family Medical Leave Act and similar legislation.
  • Prepare job descriptions and survey competitive jobs so that you can set your salary rates and ranges.
  • Evaluate your compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act that deals with overtime pay.
  • Develop a human resources database that is linked to our payroll system. This is something you may also want to use to keep track of such things as annual performance and salary reviews, vacations, etc.
  • Recruit key staff members and check references and drug screenings before an individual is hired.
  • Prepare employee handbooks, benefit statements and other employee communication materials.
  • Optimizing your website design and maintenance so that you reach your targeted audience.

How BCC Makes it Possible

  • More than 20 years ago the government realized the difficulties many individuals and businesses were having in trying to provide an attractive, yet affordable, benefits package and authorized the establishment of Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) to help individuals and businesses level the playing field.
  • The concept is simple: As a PEO, BCC can combine self-employed individuals and the employees from our clients into a larger group, thereby reducing costs especially lower payroll and insurance premiums.
  • Benefit & Compensation Consultants (BCC) was established in 1994 by Joel Levy, Esq., a former partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Joel currently serves CEO of the firm.
  • Today, more than 100,000 businesses that employ these workers have been able to improve their employment practices, tax and HR compliance, and risk management by using a PEO.
